He is survived by: his wife Stacey (Ellis); his children, Marissa and Brandon; his parents, Ron Walker and Alda Walker; his siblings, Wendy (Danny), Lori (David), Cindy (John) and Peter; his siblings-in-law, Randy Ellis (Julie), Shelly Ellis (Sean) and Carollee Dower (Fred); and his siblings' children, Brianne, Nick, Daniel, Michelle, Keegan and Cassidy.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations in Joe's name be made to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes (HSKL).
