He is survived by: his wife Joy Parliament (Marshall); his daughter Pamela (Randy) of Lindsay; his stepgrandchildren, Mason and Kaleb; his siblings, Carol and Gord Link; and his siblings' children, Sheila (Roger), Ashley (John), Allison (Jake), Russel (Elizabeth), Sean (Anne), Elizabeth (Anthony) and Michelle (Dave).

“In loving memory of Leigh Parliament. Dear Aunt Joy and cousin Pamela pease accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Uncle Leigh was a quiet and gentle man who we loved to be around. We didn't get to visit Leigh, Joy, and Pamela very often at their beautiful home in Cameron but we all have fond memories of family gatherings in their backyard and the highlight of a ride in Leigh's boat and a swim in the lake. Rest in peace Uncle Leigh. We love you and we miss you. The McCready clan”
