She was predeceased by: her daughter Joanne Corneil; her stepson Ken; and her sisters, Agnes Howson, Kay Eagan, Wilhelmina Galley and Helen Hickey.

She is survived by: her children, George Corneil (Jann) of Toronto, Jane Staples (Ken) of Lindsay and Gordon Corneil of Lindsay; her grandchildren, Christopher Corneil (Jill), Jaclyn Corneil (Marc Sabljo), Andrew Staples, Katherine Peel (Doug), Lauren Smith, Kristen Corneil (Jesse Beers) and Johnathon Corneil; her great grandchildren, Emily Peel, Carson Peel and Lily Smith; her stepgrandchildren, Megan Barnes, Matthew Barnes, Kyle Handley and Ashley Sequin (Troy); her stepgreat-grandchild Hayden Sequin; her brother Don Foster; and her sister-in-law Doreen Roadhouse.
