She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph J. Nessel; and her sisters, Beverley Hayman and Isabel Philips. She is survived by: her sons, Philip and Scott; her granddaughter Jessica McCrindle; her great grandchild Alannah Peat; and her brothers, Robert and William Fox. She is also survived by many extended family and friends.
