He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Thurston and Anna Thurston; and his wife Myrtle Thurston. He is survived by: his siblings, Jack (Betty), Anna May Jackett (George) and Jim (Judy); and his siblings' children, Faye Carslake (Bill), Theressa Barnett (David), Cheryl Thurston (Barry), Jacqueline Thurston (Ryan), Jeanette Thurston (Will), Rolanne Hurren (Talbot), Richard Thurston (Jill), Ron Thurston (Ang), David Jackett (Nancy), Brian Jackett (Sandra) and Jim Jackett.
