He was predeceased by: his parents, Joaquim Vitorino and Beatriz Maria Vitorino; and his siblings, Amilcar, Carmina (César) and Joaquim.
He is survived by: his wife Maria of Fatima Vitorino; his children, Angela Vitorino, Beatrize Vitorino and Fernando Vitorino (Diana); his grandchildren, Daniel and Katherine; his brother Geraldino Vitorino; and his sister-in-law Maria Vitorino of Portugal. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or The Darling Home For Kids.
