She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Johnston and Jemima Johnston; her sisters, Isabel and Jeannette; her husband James Johnston (Jim); and her son Kenneth.

She is survived by : her daughter Eleanor Johnston Baugh (Gary Baugh) of Burlington, WA; her grandchildren, Michael, Kim, Lauren, Eleanor and Laura; and also, Robert Johnston of Niagara Falls, Maurice and Susan Johnston of Lindsay, Ontario..
