She was predeceased by: her husband Earl Powell; her son Carl; and her siblings, Vivian, Mary, Mona, Melvin, Malcolm, Danny, Mark, Tom and Stanley.

She is survived by: her children, Joan (Chris Batty), Doug and Dean (Jennifer); and her brother George. She is also survived by her extended family and friends.
