She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Viegas Bairos and Maria Chaves Andrade Bairos; and her siblings, Jose Andrade Bairos, Antonio Bairos, Agostinho Bairos and Jose Maria.
She is survived by: her husband Manuel Ramos Carvalho Vitorino; her children, Angela Maria Bairos Vitorino, Beatrize Vitorino and Fernando Vitorino (Diana); and her grandchildren, Daniel and Katherine. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Thyroid Foundation or The Darling Home for Kids.
