He was predeceased by: his father John A. Patton; his former wife Mary Lillian McGregor; his brother Clare (Jean); and his siblings-in-law, Elva (Lloyd Lightfoot), Walter Ederer and John Plummer.
He is survived by: his wife Doris (Fisher); his son John Patton (Betty); and his sisters-in-law, Marion Ederer, Marie Plummer and Eileen (David Trethewey). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
