He was predeceased by: his wife Janet; and his daughter Elaine Cornfield (Knox). He is survived by: his children, Janette (Howard Woolley) of Dunsford, Kathryn Kitson of England, Michael Fraser (Norma) of Lindsay and Kevin Fraser (Barbara) of Cameron; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Sarah, Brad, Emily, Erin, Shannon, Kaitlyn, Meaghan, Michael, Adam, Andrea, Ian and Brenda; his stepgrandchildren, Howard and Hewan; and his great grandchildren, Astrid, Aria, Charlie, Georgie, Nikolaj, Sarah, Kenny, Leah, Connor, Nathaniel, Zachary, Gabralla and Alexander.
