He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Janet Shillington; his children, Christopher Shillington, Ashley Shillington and Victoria Arnold; his son-in-law Mark Arnold; his grandsons, Benjamin Arnold and Harrison Arnold; and his siblings, Richard Shillington, Judy Lord and Barbra Zacchigna.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family, alternatively, please consider donating blood as Ron was the recipient of many blood transfusions from generous donors throughout his battle with leukemia.
