He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Burns and Ursula Burns; and his siblings, Allan (Blanche), Bill, Peter (Alma), Rosalie (Ernie) and Mary.
He is survived by: his children, David Edward (Andrea), Mary Jane Cenzura (Jim) and Beverley Pauline Goodwin; his grandchildren, Jason (Shantelle), Ayla, Jacob (Rebecca), Jessica and Shannon; his great grandchildren, Kees, Zoey, Lily, Scarlett and Kashton; and his siblings, Pat (Pauline), Larry (Nancy), Judy Jewell (late Gord), Pauline Stanley (Bev) and Carol (Sammie).
