He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Donaldson and Melville Donaldson; and his siblings, Christopher, Gary, Sandra Foster, Marlene Edgerton and Pamela Morgan.

He is survived by: his wife Christine Ann Donaldson; his children, Lesleigh Jane Campbell (Jamie) and Amy Marie Sexsmith (Anthony); his grandchildren, Jacob Donaldson, Nicholas, Ryan Sexsmith, Carson, Brady and Madyson Campbell; his sisters, Valerie Campbell and Carolyn Kennedy (Paul); and his siblings-in-law, Nellie Donaldson and Robert Foster.
