She was predeceased by: her parents, Tillie LaCarte and John Murphy; her uncles, Wally and Nick Sahajdak (Velda); her aunt Lena Kuzyk; and her cousin Betty-Ann Sahajdak.

She is survived by: her brother Jack Murphy (Elaine); her aunt Sandra Engley (Darrell); her great-nephew Michael; her cousins, Linda Penney (late Gerald), Debbie Tadros (Nabil), Sandy Kuzyk and Michael Kuzyk (Joann); and her children, Lauren, Meaghan, Andrea, Amy, Joe, Mike and Amanda.
