She was predeceased by: her brother John (Yanula). She is survived by: her husband Gerhard; her children, Tony Troschke (Dianna) of Waterloo and Hanna Schuiling (Jason) of Lion's Head; and her siblings, Costa (Rina), Christella (late Chris) and Katina (Paul).
In lieu of flowers, Maro wished that expressions of remembrance be donated to the Christ the Saviour Antiochian Orthodox Church (Address: 96 Dunbar Road South, Waterloo, ON).
