She was predeceased by : her husband Harold Johnston; her parents, Jimmy Buchanan and Gladys Buchanan (Holmes); her daughter Marion Long (Bob); her brothers, Elgin Buchanan (Dorothy) and Delmar Buchanan (Marie); and her brother-in-law Lorne Johnston (Ruth).
She is survived by : her children, Eleanor Edwards (Jim), Murray Johnston, Ken Johnston (Peggy), Ray Johnston (Connie) and Joan Johnston; her grandchildren, Paul, Laurie, Cyndi, Dwayne, Joanne, Dale, Darryl, Amanda, Dannielle, Teri, Ryan, Shawn, Gene, Chad and Tim; and her sister-in-law Marie Ament (Ed). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
