It is with sadness that the passing of Jean Young of Listowel, Ontario is shared. Jean, born on May 1, 1943, passed away on October 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Linda (Don Wall), John Martin (Rosemary Foran) and Dan (Jen Martin). She is survived by: her husband Jim Young; her children, Marty, Joanne, Jamie, Cheryl, Karen, Liane and Paul; her grandchildren, Kayla, Erica, Bryan, Jodi, Jordan, Olivia, Tyler, Kaitlin, Brody, Brittany, Rebecca and Cody; her great grandchildren, Aubree, Logan, Callum, Ryatt, Trinity, Abigayle, Whitney and Winston; her siblings, Marlene (Bob Struthers) and Wayne (Carmen Martin); and her siblings-in-law, William, Ken, Don, Jane and Russell Young.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Knox Presbyterian Church (220 Livingstone Ave N, Listowel, ON N4W2N2).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Listowel Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care Unit) would be appreciated.
