He was predeceased by : his parents, James Hain and Marion Hain (Adams); and his brothers-in-law, Joe Berkopec, Joe Demone, Bill Dolvin, Lyle Tweedle, Dave Fleming and Keith Fleming.

He is survived by : his wife Diane Hain (Fleming); his children, Marty Bodkin of Sarnia and Laura Bodkin of Medicine Hat, Alberta.; his stepchildren, Angie Lannin (Terry) of Atwood, Monique Gerber (Paul) of Woodstock and Dan Wimmenhove of Atwood; his grandchildren, Austin Bodkin, Janine and Steve Makel; his great grandchildren, Clara, Caryn Lannin, Heather Lannin and Trent Martin; his grandchild Zac Halliday; his siblings, Muriel Berkopec, Marion Demone and Sylvia Dolvin; and his siblings-in-law, Dora Tweedle, Barb Fleming, Gail, Rod Lambert and Jayne Fleming. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
