He was predeceased by: his parents, Dave Strain and Dorothy Strain; and his brother Harold. He is survived by: his wife Elva; his children, David (Kerry-Lyn), Jim (Annette) and Karen (Dana); his grandchildren, Charlotte and Jayden; and his brother Bill (Linda). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
