He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Esther Animikwan, Joseph Andrew Animikwan, Isaiah Peltier and Lena Peltier. He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his son Mason; his parents, Gail and Ronald; his siblings, Tammy (Adolphus), Stacey (Fabian), Jason (Rachel) and Kaella-Marie; his nieces, Teyla, Arianna and Gabriella; his siblings-in-law, Joey Rump and Florence Rump; his mother-in-law Maryann Rump; his godparents, Wayne Osawamick, Linda Fox and Kaboni; and his close friends, Luke Wassegijig, Darryl Fisher, Jonas Bondy, Roy and Lloyd Coleman of Sudbury.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Buzwah Church (2525 Wikwemikong Way, Wikwemikong, ON P0P2J0). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ignatius Church.
His contributions to the Anishinaabe Aadizowin books published by Wiikwemkoong will continue to educate and inspire generations to come.
