He was predeceased by: his parents, James Panamick Sr. and Christine Panamick; and his siblings, Isadore Panamick, Johnny Panamick and Kate Roy.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Virginia Peltier; and his siblings, Vincent Panamick, Henry Sr. Panamick, Hazel Recollet, Eileen "Sweety" Simon, Jimmy Panamick and Bernard Panamick. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
A wake was held on Thursday, February 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the M'Chigeeng Community Complex (94 ON-551, M'Chigeeng, ON P0P0A2). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 28th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
He did various odd jobs over the years, from cutting wood in Michigan, working at the mill in Chapleau, to maintenance at the Ojibwe Cultural Foundation and lastly helping his family.
