Mark Ansara Obituary

The passing of Mark Ansara (Little Current, Ontario) occurred on August 18, 2026. Mark, born on March 17, 1956, is remembered by those who knew him. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Mark touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Mark’s presence will be missed, the influence he had on others will remain. Those who knew him will carry forward memories that reflect his character and spirit.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ansara and Margaret Ansara. He is survived by: his wife Christine Catherwood; his son Brian; his sisters, Cathy and Susan (Marc Mageau); and his nieces and nephews, Jaime Fortin (Brendan Tremblay), Jack and Catherine Mageau.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Anchor Inn Restaurant.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Mindemoya Food Bank would be welcome.
