She was predeceased by : her parents, John Assinewai and Florence Assinewai; her children, Ralph Nahwegahbo (Cindy), Tim Nahwegahbo, Fred Nahwegahbo, John Nahwegahbo and Cher Olchuck; and her siblings, Junior Assinewai (Jeanette), Melvina Corbiere (Ron), Arlene Sutherland (Don) and David Fox (Josephine).

She is survived by : her children, Peter Nahwegahbo, Florence Nahwegahbo and Sybil Eadie (Bill); her pet Mickey; her siblings, Laura Gamble, Liz Corbiere (late George), Marvin Assinewai (Carlene) and Yvette Assinewai; and also Joe Nahwegahbo Loving. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
