He was predeceased by: his parents, Matilda Atchitawens-Roy and Dennis Wemigwans; his stepfather Gabriel Misibinijima Dearly (Alexandrine "Sandy" Roy); his son Raymond Roy; his godson Warren Simon; and his siblings, Rozina Lavallee (Joseph), Frances Simon (Laurie), Eugene Simon, Virginia Lewis (Ronnie) and Malvin (Angeline).
He is survived by: his son Richard Roy (Sharon); his grandchildren, Frances Roy (Kendra) and Adam Roy; his great grandchild Macy; and his siblings, Mary Simon, Dianne Simon (Robert), Howard Simon, Malcolm Simon, Valerie Lavallee (Dave), Terry Bennett (Sue Ann), Jacob Wemigwans, Sharon Robinson and Sarah Gonawabi. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
