She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Sanderson and Grace Sanderson; her spouse Beverly "Bev" McMurray; her son Kevin; her brothers, Bob (Caroline) and Jim (Pat); her parents-in-law, William "Bill" and Katie McMurray; and her brothers-in-law, John "Art" (Marg) and Donald (Joan).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Brian (Carissa) and Amanda; her great grandchildren, Maxwell, Audrey and Gracelynn; her siblings, Janie (late John), Bill, Donnie (Marilyn), Bryan (Carole), Glenda (late Lenard), John (Gloria), Rosalie (Rick), Les (late Laurie) and Howard; and her siblings-in-law, Doug (late Lestie), Shirley Pyette (Lyle) and Eileen Pearson (late Alvin).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Island Funeral Home O/O Simpson Funeral Home (36 Worthington St, Little Current, ON P0P1K0). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 8th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Tehkummah Triangle Club.
