He was predeceased by: his parents, Dimitrios Nikolakakos and Maria Nikolakakos; and his former wife Kathleen. He is survived by: his children, Maria (Jacob), Dimitrios (Jim), Julia, Ahilleas (Alex) and Papou; his wife Daniela Galis; his stepchild Andra; and his siblings, Heidi (Bill), Georgina (late Sam), George (late Toula) and John (late Helen). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Due to COVID Restrictions, a Private Family Funeral Service was be held at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Road West, London, ON, with Rev. Father Konstantine Chatzis officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated to either the Canadian Cancer Society or the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
