He was predeceased by: his son Nadeem Darwish. He is survived by: his wife Fatima Okdie Darwish; his children, Ameen Darwish (Jani Fluto) and Nadia Darwish Robson (Brian Robson); and his siblings, Hassan Darwish and Fatima Darwish Issa. He is also survived by many cousins, nephews, and nieces, as well as to numerous friends.

Donations can be made to the London Muslim Mosque or the Alzheimer Society of London.
