“We were saddened to hear of the passing of Al. He was a treasured friend of my late father Harold Preston and he and his late wife Gwynn were frequent visitors at my parents cottage in Haliburton. We remember him fondly as a fun-loving and friendly man and in later life whenever we visited him, he was interested in his garden and passionate about music. He played in a band and showed us his elaborate music set-up. Our thoughts to his family, Gayle (Preston) and Ron Neilson”
