He was predeceased by: his parents, Isabella Lavery and Thomas Lavery; and his siblings, Edna, Jennie, Eddie, Tom and Malcolm.
He is survived by: his wife Edna; his daughters, Kay (Rob) and Heather (Pat); his grandchildren, Zachary and Kasey; his siblings-in-law, Jean, Lucy, Jackie (Sandy) and Jill (John) of Scotland; his cousin Julia (Colin); and his caregivers, Rob Heffner, Dr. Kirk Hamilton and Dr. Anna Johnson. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
