He is survived by: his common-law partner Marie Geerts (Knill); his sons, Robert (Lynda) and Marc (Tracey); his stepchildren, Nancy Spriet (Leon), David Vandevyvere, Jason Geerts (Jennifer) and Greg Geerts (Rayna); his grandchildren, Daniel Vandevyvere (Megan), Riley Geerts (Tyler), Tori Smith (Jeremy), Braedon Geerts (Lorilei), Dylan, Kyle and Aubrey Geerts; his great grandchildren, Charliee Geerts, Autumn Vandevyvere and Lincoln Smith; his siblings, Maurice, Godelieve Poppe and Monique Wood (Malcom); his sisters-in-law, Mariette Bilcke and Donna Vanhoucke; and his brother Raymond (Margaret). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
