It is with sadness that the passing of Angus Ian Robertson McLeod (London, Ontario) is shared. Angus, born on August 13, 1948, passed away on September 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Angus Morrison McLeod and Lucy Mae McLeod (Robertson); and his sister Janice McLeod. He is survived by: his spouse Maree McLeod (Libal); his sons, Jonathan McLeod and Matthew McLeod (Mikyla); his grandchildren, Keanna and Riley; his sister Patty (McLeod) Tulloch (Brian); and his nephews, Adam and Tyler. He is also survived by his wife, his two sons and his grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Westview Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (709 Wonderland Rd, London, ON N6H). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Westview Funeral Home (709 Wonderland Rd, London, ON N6H).
Ian made many enduring contributions to Time Series Analysis and Statistical Computing, including the development of the McLeod-Li test.
