He was predeceased by: his father Richard Pountney; his father-in-law Donald Cardinal; and his sister Samantha Pountney. He is survived by: his children, MacGregor, Dozer and Murphy; his parent Marie-Elaine Pountney; his mother-in-law Colleen; his brother Timothy Pountney (Fern Livingstone); his siblings-in-law, Chris Cardinal (Lynn May), Andrew Cardinal (Kendra) and Rebecca Cardinal (Greg Ostrom); and his nieces and nephews, Katie (Aaron), Jonathan (Laura), Jessica (Bilal) and Courtney. He is also survived by many cousins, pseudo-nieces and nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Humane Society London & Middlesex (hsln.ca) would be appreciated.
