He is survived by: his wife Dora Alferink; his daughter Susan Zender; his parents, Hank Alferink and Gay Alferink; his siblings, Bert Alferink and Ena Alferink; his son Philip Alferink; his children-in-law, Linda Alferink and Carl Zender; his grandchildren, Kevin (Emily), Cassandra, Sierra (Jamieson) and Dustin; his great grandchildren, Owen and Lina; and his siblings, Hettie, Hank and Bob.
