He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ken (late Marg) and Jan Foy (late Gary); and his parents, Stanley Alexander and Jean Alexander (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Marlene Alexander; his sons, Murray Alexander (Carolyn) and Trevor Alexander (Tricia); his grandsons, William, Brendan, Kevin and Daniel; and his brother Dave (Cal). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the McFarlane and Roberts Funeral Home (2240 Wharncliffe Rd S, London, ON N6P1L1). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home (2240 Wharncliffe Rd S, London, ON N6P1L1). A reception was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
