He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Janette Brennholt (Elo); his children, Vickie Kuipers (Jamie) of Aylmer and Barbi Morris (John) of Belmont; his grandchildren, Nicole (Brian), Dustin (Jacklyn), Kory (Kaylie) and Cailin (James); his great grandchildren, Lekci, Ashlyn, Zoey, Enzo, Kiptyn, Kash, Cole, Alexa and Krista; and his sibling Bodo Brennholt (Erika) of Germany.
