She was predeceased by: her stepmother Helen Horvath; and her father Arthur Cronkite. She is survived by: her stepfather Andy Horvath; her mother Sandra Minard; her children, Melissa Robinson, Elizabeth Cronkite, Ashley Cronkite and Susan Cronkite; and her brothers, Brent Kats and Wayne Edwards. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, friends.
