He is survived by: his wife Carlene Fernie; his parents, Christine Fernie of Ottawa and Iain Fernie of Orangeville; his sister Kendel Fernie of Dunrobin; his parents-in-law, Wendy and Tony McGowan; and his siblings-in-law, Conor (Lydia), Jenny and Joe (Paige).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Westview Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (709 Wonderland Rd, London, ON N6H). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the St. Peter's Cathedral Basilica (196 Dufferin Ave, London, ON N6A5N6).
