He was predeceased by: his former wife Agnes Jean (Martin); his brothers, Ken Simmons of Wingham and Arther Simmons of Kitchener; and his parents, Gorden Simmons and Adeline Simmons (Johnston) of Wingham.

He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Ford; his daughter Nancy Ann Long (Simmons); his nephew Lonny Simmons of London; his grandchildren, Martin Long of Ailsa Craig and Amanda Long of Toronto; his great grandchildren, Morgan, Jamie Long and Eleanor Long; and his sibling Alister Simmons of Dorchester.

In memory of Cam, memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation.
