He was predeceased by: his siblings, Barry Doak and Grace Adams; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Sterling and Tony Peirone. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Deborah Bondy, Kevin Doak (Tracey) and Sherri-Lynn McDermid; his grandchildren, Brittney, Brandon, Jamie-Lynn and Shasta; and his siblings-in-law, Diane Graydon (Derek) and Rick Purrott (Sandra).

“We are Bob & Carol (Zimmerman) Fisher and Carmen and I were friends and played hockey at age of 12 to 15. Carmen was the captian of the team and he was as good a defenceman that there was in our age group. Unfortunately we do not know Carmens wife Barb but we send our deepest sympathy. Barb if you were in Goderich when you were younger you may have had a hotdog or popcorn at my wifes fathers truck (Peter Zimmerman) Bob & Carol Fisher”
