She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon Everett; her parents, Frances Evoy and James "Bud" Evoy; and her brother George Evoy. She is survived by: her siblings, Jimmy MacEvoy (Helen) and Diane Barlow; her siblings' children, Gordon (Shannon), Stephanie (Andrew), David and Brandon Everett (Bridgit); her stepdaughter Janice Everett; and her grandchildren, Gemma, Kyla and Brynlee.

Memorial donations in Carol's honour can be made to Lung Cancer Canada.
