She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Robert Colin; her sons, Stephen of Guelph, Gordon (Milena) of Ancaster and Donald (Carrie) of Oakville; her grandchildren, Megan and Evan; her parents, Lois Jacques and Allan Jacques; her brothers, Allan (Geri) and Doug (Anna Sipos); her nephew Matthew (Anne); and her niece Heather.

Her never-ending commitment to forge strong relationships and be an active member of the community enabled her to have a solid foundation of support from neighbours as her health declined.
