He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Hoevenaars and Francis Hoevenaars; and his siblings, Archie Hoevenaars (Marion) and Bernadette (Dennis). He is survived by: his spouse Gail; his children, Cindy (Rob), Laurie (Todd), Craig (Tamara), Suzanne (Nate) and Joanne (Brent); his grandchildren, Brittany, Jesse (Cam), Morgan (Marcus), Madison, Ryan (Chloe), Georgia, Sadie, Jude, Miles, Asher, Abby and Avery; his siblings, Mary (late Don), Elsie (late Frank), José (late John), Frank (Dee), Trudy, Jackie (late Gary), MaryAnn (Tom) and Pat (Ron); and his caregiver Andrea. He is also survived by nephews, the Davis family in-laws, and his many longtime friends.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Justin's Parish (855 Jalna Blvd, London, ON N6E2S2).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
