She is survived by: her spouse Glen Elliott; her children, Veronica Douglas (Peter Metcalfe) and Kevin Douglas (Lianne Armstrong); her grandchildren, Chernet and Tesfanesh; her siblings, Lena Ford, Jack McBride and Stewart McBride; and her extended family Scotland. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date when Covid restrictions ease.
