He was predeceased by: his wife Lorna Wilde; and his grandson Christopher. He is survived by: his children, Stephen Wilde (Paulette), Dawn Kimmerly (Brian) and Katie Smith (Dwayne); his grandchildren, Courtney, Jodi, Sierra, Sarah, Zan (Andrew), Helen (Mike), Jecht (Mel), Erica, Emily-Rose and Jubilee; and his great grandchildren, Mikey, Vinnie, Louie and Shelby.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish to make a memorial donation in memory of Charles are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society.
