He is survived by: his parents, Robert Humbey and Edith Humbey; his wife Julie; his children, Stefanie (Geoff) and Joshua; his grandchildren, Alana, Olivia and Mason; his siblings, Judy (Bob), John and Cindy; and his nieces and nephews, Renee, Ryan, Scott, Carley and Dillion.

There will be a Celebration of Life at Norma Jeans on Saturday November 17th at 3:00 pm. "You will always be our favourite hello and hardest goodbye." In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to "Jumpstart", so children can have the opportunity to participate in sports.
