He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Phills and Mary Alda Phills; his wives, Florence and Doris; his siblings, James (Gerine), Neville, Doreen (Calbert), Gertrude (Ray) and George (Acklema); and his great grandchild Angela Rose.
He is survived by: his sister Patricia; his sister-in-law Jackie; his sons, Bertram (Laverne) and Charles (Claire); his grandchildren, Curtis, James, Charly and Dillon; and his great grandchildren, Ashton, Brayden, Charlotte and Dustin.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Needham Funeral Service (520 Dundas St, London, ON N6B1W6). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery (2001 Dundas St, London, ON N5V1P6).
