He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Caughell and Irene Caughell (Williams). He is survived by: his children, Mardi Turgeon (Ron), Carrie Scully (Jeff), Leslie Deyell (Paul) and Joel Caughell (Mirella); his grandchildren, Alex, Maren, Kyle, Adam, Robert, Melissa, Justin, Ainslee, Grant and Thomas; his great grandchildren, Jorge, Nicolas, Margot and Alexis; and his wife Joan Mildred May. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who all loved being with grandpa.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:50 PM at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home (2240 Wharncliffe Rd S, London, ON N6P1P8). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mcfarlane & Roberts Funeral Home (2240 Wharncliffe Rd S, London, ON N6P1L1).
