He was predeceased by: his sister Andrea Erauw; his sister-in-law Angela Baertsoen (Carlos); and his parents, Valere Swaenepoel and Agnes Swaenepoel (Deraeve). He is survived by: his wife Mariette Swaenepoel (Janssens); his daughters, Diana Coholan and Denise Swaenepoel; his grandchildren, Erin, Cameron, Patrick Coholan and Alex Warner; his siblings, Solange Verougstraete (late Firmin), Frank Swaenepoel (Carol) and Noel Swaenepoel (Rosemary); and his siblings-in-law, Gaston Erauw, Hilda Dujardin (Frank) and Marleen Van Overberghe (Marc). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and many cousins.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private family funeral service will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday, May 28, 2021 at 1:00 p. m. and will be available to watch through livestream.
