She was predeceased by: her mother Grammie; her husband John Ropp; her father Melvin; and her siblings, Grace Schwartzentruber, Elaine Zehr, Gerald Bender, Mary Johnston, John Bender, Ray Bender and Doreen Ropp.
She is survived by: her children, Aimee Bowers (Michael), Grammie, Jayden Travnicek (Mitch) and Matthew Bowers; and her sister Jan Brubacher.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson Society of Canada in Darlene's memory.
